Pure Jungle Spa was born in the heart of the Costa Rican Caribbean coast, rooted in the community of Puerto Viejo and in the shadow of the vision of women passionate about well-being.

 

When opening its doors to the world in 2005, the spa became part of its tropical environment by integrating fruits, plants and the work of local people into the impeccable service that our clients have appreciated to date.

 

My first encounter with Pure Jungle Spa occurred when I decided to make the Caribbean my home and the place where I want to see my family grow. And it is that I have lived in love with the area, so wild, authentic, and multicultural, since the first time I visited it in 1998.

 

When working as a freelance in the spa, the crush on the place was immediate: its surroundings, its artisan aura, its atmosphere of calm and connection with nature, its values; this made the decision to make this venture part of my family, years later by acquiring it, the natural step to make my dreams come true.

 

At that time the knowledge and experience in the area of ​​health and well-being that my studies in physiotherapy, holistic therapies and the experience of working in large hotel chains in places such as the Costa Rican Pacific coast, and the Maldives, gave me the impulse to dare myself  to create my vision: the Pure Jungle experience.

 

I want the spa to be a source of transformation. Beyond a place of relaxation, it motivates me that the people who enter our Spa leave renewed, feeling more love and connection with life.

 

Being able to see and hear with our hands, when accompanying people in their healing processes is a great gift that I appreciate every day. This motivates us to do our best to maintain the excellent service that characterizes us, without losing sight of the well-being of the community and the environment.
